My first mountain bike race shoot, ever, turned out to be quite exciting. Not only was it my first time shooting a bike race but I was going to be accessing the course on my brother Brian’s KLR 650. Do I need to mention that this event would be taking place in the Crested Butte backcountry at elevations approaching 12,000 feet into the tundra? Oh yeah, this too, Lance Armstrong decided to show up. What a day of shooting and riding in my backyard.
